Practical Applications and Future Directions
摘要
During the past few years, the public has become increasingly aware of nutrition, pharmaceuticals, and mental health topics. The purpose of this study is to investigate whether or not the combination of dietary approaches and pharmaceutical treatments can improve mental health outcomes in a population. Systemic hurdles, cultural norms, and misinformation are examined in this study. An overview of the prospects of the research is presented in this chapter. In addition, it sheds light on a few new disciplines that are gaining prominence, such as health genomics and personalized nutrition. When combined, dietary and pharmacological therapies can provide the most significant benefit to a patient’s health in terms of optimizing the state of their health, which is the central theme of this chapter. Diet, medicine, and psychological well-being are intertwined in this chapter, and how they relate is explored.
