Overview of Analyses and Statistics of Electricity Reliability in Different Countries
摘要
Power system reliability and resilience are significant in terms of the energy transition on generation types and system structures. Thus, countries have surveyed the operating performance of their power systems every year, and provide annual reports to reveal possible trends and weaknesses in their grids. The main content of annual reports includes basic system data, reliability indices such as the system average interruption duration index or system average interruption frequency index, the performance of frequency responses, the statistics of device failures, resilience indices, measured methods, reserve margin, the trend of system inertia, the ride through capability of renewable power sources, and severity risk index. To investigate the issues in power system performance, we survey statistics and findings in electricity reliability reports around the world to collect crucial reliability and resiliency items for power system operations under different aspects.
