Smart Technologies in Eco-Friendly Water Infrastructure
摘要
Sustainable water management is changing as a result of the integration of innovative technologies into eco-friendly water infrastructure. According to this study, the Internet of Things (IoT), artificial intelligence (AI), and remote sensing are increasing the efficacy of green infrastructure solutions like rain gardens, bioswales, and permeable pavements. Real-time tracking of water flow, quality, and storage capacity is now feasible thanks to smart sensors, which enable us to use resources more effectively and reduce the likelihood of flooding. AI-driven predictive analytics goes one step further and aids in better decision-making by forecasting patterns of extreme weather and water demand. Even with all these improvements, there are still some hurdles to overcome, like the big price tag up front, worries about keeping data private, and making these new systems work with the old ones. Finding ways to deal with these issues—through government policies, funding options, and latest tech breakthroughs—will be essential if we want to see these technologies used more broadly. Our research really brings to light how these smart technologies could make our city water systems tougher, more efficient, and better for the environment in the long run.
