The circular economy transition stands as a vital method to reach sustainable development goals because of worsening climate issues and diminishing natural resources. Higher education institutions (HEIs) serve as key drivers for this transition because they create knowledge while promoting innovation and behavioral change. This research investigates how higher education institutions implement circular economy principles through recent global developments and institutional strategies that advance circular thinking in curriculum design, campus operations, research activities, and community partnerships. The chapter draws from current research to show how HEIs function as living laboratories for circular innovation through interdisciplinary teaching, green infrastructure, sustainable procurement, and student-led initiatives.
