An ergonomic design of the ship’s bridge can significantly enhance crew task performance and operational comfort, reduce physical strain during operations, and minimize the likelihood of human error, thereby improving overall crew safety. This study investigates the layout design and evaluation of ship bridges using the Operation Chain Analysis (OCA) method. It begins by examining the requirements for bridge layout design and introduces the fundamental concepts and key steps of the OCA method. Based on this, a design and evaluation approach for bridge workstation layout is proposed, aiming to provide guidance for cabin design that better aligns with operational demands, enhances task execution efficiency, and promotes navigational safety.

摘要
