Study on Digital Safety Control Panel in Main Control Room of Nuclear Power Plant

The backup panel in the MCR of most NPPs in the world is a man-machine interface form of conventional hardwired. Its panel table is large in volume, complex in structure, large in types and quantities of hardwired equipment, heavy in cable laying and termination, complex in panel layout, scattered in panel information and high in operator load, which also brings great difficulties to the layout design and optimization of main control room. This paper innovatively puts forward the digital SCP scheme, which replaces the traditional conventional hardwired panel and overcomes its shortcomings, and focus on the transformation of hardwired scheme to digital direction, adapt to the development trend of intelligence. The design of digital safety control panel can reduce the operation load of operators and realize accident operation and safe shutdown with a small amount of emergency operations, in order to ensure the safety operation of the nuclear power plant. It is a great significance to the progress of man machine interface design and improvement to the comfortable and progressiveness of the MCR.
