In the human upper limbs, there are various joints and numerous muscles, both large and small, that enable free movement. Around the shoulder, elbow, wrist, and phalangeal joints, the upper limbs move continuously and freely through the contraction and relaxation of muscles throughout the day, even during sleep. Due to these free movements, various diseases frequently occur around the joints. To diagnose diseases of the upper limbs, computed tomography (CT), magnetic resonance imaging (MRI), and ultrasonography are commonly used.
