In Chap. 2 we have derived the basic equations of astrophysical hydrodynamics, and summarized various relations or characteristics of hydrodynamical motions. In this chapter we consider steady/stationary flows, and review some typical astrophysical applications; steady spherical accretion and wind, viscous accretion flows, and meridional circulation in stars. Finally, as a powerful method to study astrophysical flows, the similarity method is briefly mentioned.

摘要
