Similar to the astrophysical and magnetohydrodynamical fluids, there exist various waves and instabilities in the radiative fluids. Some of them are usual waves modified by radiation fields, such as acoustic or gravity waves, while some are proper to the radiative fluids, such as a radiative diffusion wave. Nonlinear waves, such as shocks and ionization fronts, and various fluid instabilities are also influenced by radiation fields. In this chapter, we show typical waves and instabilities in the radiative fluids.

摘要
