In this chapter, I concluded that the history of translation, publication and dissemination of Mao Zedong’s works was the cross culture communication events conducted by China during the Cold War era started from 1950s, even in 21st century these historical events are still heritage for China in term of the impact of political, economic, social cultural influences. But I also point out, due to the translation, publication and dissemination of Mao's works involves tremendous financial burden and cost of human resources, which also resulted in some criticize from Chinese academia, thus the historical experience and lessons gained through these still lack of systematic research.Not to mention, the distribution and publishing networks established for decades through hardship were abandoned in overseas right after China adopted open up policies in 1980s.
