This chapter introduced the history of translation, publication and dissemination of Mao Zedong’s works in Italy, also include the relationships between Chinese Communist Party and the Italian’s, and the background behind the disputes between China and Soviet Union over the international movements, also the Italian publishers, distributors’ exchange history between Chinese side. In addition, the historical periods and characteristics behind the Italian version of Chinese publication was also been analyzed.
