Theoretical Framework, Content, and Practical Paths to Transform Teacher Training
摘要
Where is the transformation of teacher training heading and why? How can it be achieved? This paper aims to explore the theoretical basis of teacher training transformation by analyzing the motivation behind it. To achieve this, the paper delves into the progress of learning theory and teachers’ learning characteristics, interaction behavior theory and interactive teaching concept, as well as new research on teachers’ professional characteristics and development mechanisms. The paper proposes four characteristics of teacher training transformation: shifting from “knowledge-based” to “literacy-oriented” training, shifting from “one-way indoctrination” to “dialogue-generation,” shifting from “collegial training” to “field-based learning,” and shifting from “teaching-centered” to “learning-centered” training. In addition, the paper distills and summarizes practical approaches to achieving the transformation of teacher training.
