Interdisciplinary theme teaching is necessary to promote students’ core literacy development. Taking TRIP as an example, this paper designed an interdisciplinary theme teaching model, identified the main challenges in the implementation of each stage of interdisciplinary theme teaching, and made use of the advantages of information technology to empower interdisciplinary theme teaching with information-based teaching systems, including integrating the knowledge to empower interdisciplinary structures, opening source resource library to facilitate student pre-learning, creating anonymous self-organization to strengthen students’ centrality, using informational tools to enhance students’ engagement, utilizing multimedia display to enrich students’ sense of access, analyzing the process data to prove students’ development degree, and promoting students’ transference through the stage reflection. This promoted the development of students’ abilities to create questions, collect data, take responsibility, focus and innovate, communicate and express themselves, observe and interpret, as well as reflect and transfer.

摘要
