Additive manufacturing (AM) is an outstanding emerging technology that has been used to fabricate diversity products from simple to complex parts for many practical applications such as aerospace, automotive, industrial, and biomedical applications. The AM is a rapid technology in designing and manufacturing new geometrical characteristics and complicated shapes. This technology is opposite to traditional manufacturing technology that uses cutting tool to remove a large amount of material from workpiece to form a desired product, AM technology adds layers of material to build the parts with non-wasted material in its procedure. Designing process is an essential part for developing new product in the additive manufacturing procedure that supports desired parts for in-used industrial requirements. This paper demonstrates an emerging additive manufacturing for design and manufacturing complex products with new tools immersing into the AM technologies for rapid product development.
