Optimizing Energy Consumption in LoRa Sensor Networks with the Nano-Power System Timer TPL5111 for Forest Monitoring
摘要
This paper presents a method for optimizing energy consumption in LoRa sensor networks used for forest environment monitoring by utilizing the nano-power system timer TPL5111. This timer enables the system to power up only for the required duration to transmit data, significantly reducing energy consumption. We conducted field tests of our proposed solution, which resulted in enhanced system operational efficiency, significantly prolonged battery or accumulator life, and extended maintenance intervals for devices deployed in remote forest locations away from the control center.
