Given a real-life business problem statement in an operations research course, finding an optimal feasible solution is a complex task for undergraduate students in a face-to-face teaching-learning scenario. Students need to develop their problem-solving skills to solve real-life business problems. In this study, we considered a problem-based learning approach to help students develop their problem-solving skills. This study aims to understand the analysis of problem-based learning activity on 38 Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) students. The activity involves finding an optimal feasible solution using a graphical approach for a linear programming problem. Students are divided into control and experimental groups based on their prior conceptual understanding. Their problem-solving skills are analysed using three parameters. There was no significant difference concerning problem-solving skills among the two groups before conducting the study. The results show that experimental group students have higher problem-solving skills than control group students.
