The “Apti-Trainer” android app is specifically designed to assist undergraduate students in excelling in aptitude skills and overcoming challenges encountered during aptitude rounds in the recruitment process. While students often possess remarkable technical skills, they struggle in solving aptitude questions due to insufficient practice, leading to premature elimination during crucial initial campus rounds. The app aims to provide user-friendly platform with wide range of features to aid students in their aptitude preparation. This paper outlines Phase-I development of an app focused on enhancing aptitude skills with five main features: Topics, Notes, Mock Tests, MNCs (Multinational Corporations), and Discussion. Users can log in with their email credentials and solve topic-wise question sets through quiz and practice modes. The app is accessible on range of Android devices with the facility to download topic-wise notes. In addition to practice and tests, the app offers information on prominent MNCs, their profiles, recruitment processes, and job requirements. The Discussion feature allows users to seek clarifications, discuss doubts, and benefit from experts. The app leverages technologies like Android Studio, Java, and Lottie animations while Firebase handles user authentication and SQLite manages data efficiently. The planned Phase-II development includes comprehensive Question Bank with varying difficulty levels, behavioral-based questions, and Emotional Quotient (EQ) assessments using machine learning algorithms. An Admin Panel will be implemented for personalized user management. The aim is to continually enhance the app to provide holistic solution for improving aptitude skills and increasing students’ success in the recruitment process.
