摘要
Semantics constitutes an essential component of linguistics and serves as a discipline dedicated to studying language meaning (linguistic meaning). Alongside phonetics, lexis, and syntax, semantics represents a component of language, a level within language, and a highly significant phenomenon in human society. For instance, renowned French scholar A. J. Greimas remarked, “Essentially, the human world is probably the world of meaning. A world devoid of meaning could never be termed the world of “humans””.
