Since the 18th CPC National Congress, Shenzhen has been accelerating the pace of high-quality development. Faced with the COVID-19 pandemic, the sharp rise in raw material prices, and the combined impact of multiple unfavorable factors, the high-quality development of digital economy in Shenzhen didn’t come to a stop. Instead, Shenzhen improved its performance in an array of key indicators, including the transformation of power supply in industrial parks, the operating income of software and Internet service industries, as well as the added value of core digital economy industries as a share of GDP. In the meanwhile, Shenzhen has vigorously promoted the digital transformation of industries, with the focus on key industries, industrial parks and clusters, and regional coordination. To unlock the potential of digital industrialization, Shenzhen has been committed to making breakthroughs in key technologies and fostering new business forms and models. In addition, it has continued to improve the support system for the digital economy, while increasing the policy support and regulation of the digital economy. The digital technologies have been employed to increase the efficiency of government services, expand the supply and coverage of social services, and create a new type of digital lifestyle. In this way, the public services have been increasingly digitalized and optimized. Over the past decade, Shenzhen has boosted the high-quality development of the economy through digital technology, generating a range of “Shenzhen experience”, “Shenzhen standards”, and “Shenzhen samples”.
