Densification Assessment Through Residents’ Satisfaction in Nanhuan Community, Suzhou
摘要
This chapter explores factors influencing resident satisfaction in high-density resettlement neighborhoods, focusing on housing quality and community environment. Using Nanhuan Village in Suzhou as a case study, it compares satisfaction before and after regeneration, applying a mixed methods approach, including interviews, fieldwork, and surveys. The findings show that “community environment,” “property management,” and “surrounding facilities” are the key factors shaping satisfaction, with densification not perceived as a problem, offering insights for shaping urban regeneration policies.
