Cultural resilience plays a vital role in the sustainable development of traditional villages. This study evaluates cultural resilience and offers strategies for its enhancement, focusing on the linked villages of Miaofengshan Town. Using the Analytic Hierarchy Process (AHP) within the Pressure-State-Response (PSR) framework, the research assesses the current state of cultural resilience. The evaluation results show that Jianggou and Yingtaogou villages scored 6.02 and 4.97 respectively, indicating medium resilience, while Nanzhuang, Taoyuan, and Danli villages scored between 2.53 and 3.01, reflecting low resilience. Findings indicate that these villages face significant pressures such as rapid urbanization, erosion of traditional culture, and insufficient preservation mechanisms, resulting in diminished cultural resilience. To address these issues, the study suggests strengthening cultural preservation efforts, promoting cultural education and awareness, and integrating traditional culture into local economic development. These recommendations provide practical guidance for policymakers and stakeholders aiming to enhance cultural resilience in traditional villages and promote their sustainable development.
