A Review of Chinese Community Resilience Research Based on CiteSpace Visual Analysis

With the intensification of global climate change, environmental degradation, and urbanization, communities, as the basic units of cities, face increasingly severe challenges from disasters and environmental risks. This paper employs the CiteSpace bibliometric analysis method, using 279 papers on community resilience research from 2015 to 2024 in the CNKI database as the research sample. Through analyses of co-citation, keyword co-occurrence, and burst terms, the study reviews and prospects the field of resilience in aging communities. The findings reveal that although community resilience research started relatively late since 2015, it has developed rapidly, especially after 2019, with a significant increase in publications. This indicates that this field has become an important component of urban sustainable development research. The main characteristics of the research are: primarily concentrated in universities, with a low level of institutional cooperation, and research hotspots gradually expanding to areas such as disaster prevention and mitigation, public health events, and resilience enhancement strategies. Furthermore, the study emphasizes the urgent need to establish a closer academic collaboration network. Future research should delve deeper into the concept of resilient communities and explore their application in urban planning and emergency management, providing theoretical support and practical guidance for the construction of resilient cities.
