Sustainable Financial Strategies for the Renewal of Mountainous Old Urban Communities: A Case of Communities Along Chongqing Inner Ring Expressway, China
摘要
Urban communities are closely linked to residents’ daily lives, making their renewal a focal point in the advanced stages of urbanization. This research focuses on the sustainable financial renewal of mountainous urban communities to summarize and classify three types of potential stock resources in these communities: inefficiently utilized public spaces, existing buildings, and facility land. Based on spatial characteristics and relevant policies, we propose a renewal strategy that revitalizes public spaces through systemic integration, boosts building value through a “public + profit” model, and enhances land output via composite development. The goal is to maximize the value of these stock resources and secure investment returns throughout the renewal process, thereby promoting sustainable urban community renewal.
