As a special grass-roots control system in Fujian, Taiwan and Guangdong, Pujing is a double superposition of official system and folk custom, social and morphic space. “Jing”, with the spiritual culture of the temple as its core, is not only the reflection of the social attribute of settlements and local worship, but also the key to maintain internal peace and stability and cultivate local identity. At present, most of the research on the Pujing temple remains in the historical summary analysis and the strategy induction of its material space repair and activation, lacking certain technical means and data support, there is still a certain research space at the level of targeted and scientific protection and inheritance methods. Therefore, this paper takes the temple of Tongshan District in Zhangzhou as an example, based on the current situation of the temple, visiting investigation, expert consultation and historical data, summarizes the factors related to the influence of the temple, and makes a questionnaire. With the help of Spass and Amos data processing software, this paper reveals the deep relationship between the influence of the Pujing temple and its four dimensions: spatial scale, accessibility, community vitality and historical value. The results of data processing show that “Maintaining the historical value of temple, improving the connectivity of streets and alleys, expanding the area of the temple, and controlling the intensity of development” are the key core of the future community cultural construction and protection, and further puts forward targeted strategies for protection and inheritance, provide reference and design ideas for future community construction.
