Measurement of Time-Dependent CP Asymmetries in \(B^0 \rightarrow K_S^0 \eta \gamma \) Decays at Belle and Belle II
摘要
The decays of \( B \) mesons to the \( K_S^0 \eta \gamma \) final state constitute flavor-changing neutral current \( b \rightarrow s \gamma \) transitions, which are forbidden at tree level in the Standard Model and occur via higher-order loop diagrams. Such decays are sensitive to physics beyond the Standard Model due to the potential contribution of new particles in the loops. This report presents a preliminary study of charge-parity violation in \( B \rightarrow K_S^0 \eta \gamma \) decays, performed using Monte Carlo simulations to estimate the expected signal sensitivity for the dataset expected by Belle II in the future.
