We provide a concise yet comprehensive overview of the experimental and theoretical landscape of neutrino interaction processes across the kinematic region of the shallow and deep inelastic scattering regimes. Moreover, we underscore the pressing unresolved questions and formidable challenges that lie ahead, stressing the urgent need for more refined theoretical models and high-precision measurements to deepen our understanding of neutrino-nucleon and neutrino-nucleus interaction cross sections.
