The interactions in electron-proton collisions are dominated by the interaction of real photons emitted by the electrons with the protons. The presence of multiple parton interactions has been already established in such collisions at HERA energies and it plays a vital role in exploring dynamics of hadronic final state production in photon-proton interactions. The present work reports the significance of study of multiple parton interactions in such photoproduction processes involving hadronic final state at the Electron-Ion Collider energies as compared to the HERA energies.

摘要
