Design Proposal for Typical Offshore Platforms Based on Fluid-Seabed-Structure Interaction Analysis
摘要
An offshore area is a valuable resource which is the basis of marine economic development in coastal countries. In recent decades, many marine structures have been built in offshore areas, the sudden action of natural calamities arises additional heavy loads and hazardous unexpected loads on the structure, thus stability of marine structures and their seabed foundations under wave loading is an important concern. An inappropriate design will lead to the failure and damage of marine structures in harsh ocean environments; therefore, it is of great significance to study the problem of fluid-seabed-structure interaction (FSSI). There are several parameters influencing the response of offshore platforms such as wave parameters, pile parameters and soil parameters. Hence this study investigates the influence of these parameters on typical offshore platforms such as jack-up, jacket and concrete based gravity structure by FSSI analysis using a finite element structural and fluid analysis software which can provide a suitable range of design parameters such as suitable type of platform, optimized dimension for platform and foundation details for given details of a marine environment.
