Hydrodynamic Analysis of Deep-Water Double Barges Lifting Wreck Under Mooring Conditions
摘要
The salvage method of lifting wreck with Twin-barges has the characteristics of large lifting capacity and high controllability, and its technology and process are relatively mature in shallow water salvage operations. However, there have been no operational cases of using this technology for deep water salvage above 100 m. This article is based on the salvage of a wreck at a depth of 150 m, using three-dimensional (3D) potential flow theory and Moses software for modeling. The hydrodynamic characteristics of the process of salvaging wreck with Twin-barges are analyzed, the motion response of barges and wreck has been studied, also the displacement amplitude of the barge under extreme sea conditions and the lifting force for salvaging the wreck are calculated. Unlike previous studies on Twin-barges for lifting wreck, this study uses two different barges as surface vessels for wreck lifting, which is similar to actual engineering vessels, can provide data support for this salvage project and reference for similar projects.
