Production and Quality Control of 3D-Printed Custom-Made Prostheses
摘要
3D printing, also known as additive manufacturing, is an emerging manufacturing technology that produces solid objects through layer-by-layer deposition. There are numerous types of 3D printing processes based on different layering and deposition methods. However, only a few 3D printing processes are currently directly applicable to the production of custom orthopedic implants. This is primarily due to the specific requirements of orthopedic implants in terms of manufacturing processes and materials.
