The study includes analysis of water supply network for Mouje Sangaon village using EPANET software and QGIS software. EPANET, a hydraulic modeling tool, is employed to simulate the water distribution systems. QGIS, a geospatial analysis platform, is used for digitizing the water supply infrastructure and allocating water demand across different sectors of the village. The analysis identifies that the current network is insufficient to meet future water demand, highlighting the need for significant upgrades to the distribution system. Through optimization of pressure levels and reduction of frictional losses, the study proposes a design for the new water network that accounts for the village’s future growth. The revised network design ensures a uniform and reliable water supply to all consumers, balancing water distribution effectively across various zones. The results emphasize the importance of strategic planning and infrastructure development to sustain long-term water supply needs for Mouje Sangaon, ensuring that both present and future demands are met efficiently.
