In order to effectively improve the observation capability of distributed constellation situational awareness satellites, this paper conducted simulation research on the Walker type distributed constellation orbit architecture. The Walker type situational awareness constellation configuration carrying radar perception payload was taken as the research object, and the constellation geometric precision factor (GDOP) value was optimized as the core indicator. In order to further improve the observation efficiency of the constellation and cover near Earth space, a Walker type combination constellation configuration was designed, and solved under the optimization of genetic algorithm, proving the significant improvement in coverage and perception efficiency brought by the combination Walker constellation.
