Clinical Diagnosis in Patients with Spinal Pain
摘要
Spinal pain, especially back pain, is the second most common reason for visiting medical institutions after respiratory diseases and is a symptom that almost everyone experiences at least once in their lifetime. It can be said that it is the most frequently encountered symptom in actual clinical practice. More than 90% of all patients with back pain are believed to be caused by mechanical lesions (degenerative changes, disc herniation, spinal stenosis, spondylolisthesis, etc.), but it is rare that the exact pathological anatomical lesion is revealed [1]. Therefore, to evaluate back pain early, general medical history and physical examination alone can find clues to the answer, but in a minority, other special tests may be needed for accurate diagnosis.
