The brachial plexus is a network of nerves that supply motor and sensory nerve branches to the upper limbs, including the shoulder, chest, arm, and hand. It is quite difficult to clinically distinguish brachial plexopathy and other spinal-related abnormalities, and electrophysiological diagnostic methods are often difficult to perform due to the deep location of the brachial plexus, often resulting in intermediate results [1]. Moreover, due to ambiguous clinical symptoms, uncommon characteristics, and complex anatomical structure, diagnosing pathological conditions of the brachial plexus is difficult both clinically and radiologically, and there is a tendency to evaluate it necessarily through magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) [2–4]. Recently, the use of MR neurography (MRN) for more detailed evaluation in cases where brachial plexopathy or peripheral neuropathy is suspected or diagnosed has increased, and the results are also excellent [4–6].
