Stainless steel cladding is one of the most important and typical components in modern power plant civil engineering. Accurate measurement and valuation of stainless steel engineering is of great significance to accurately determine civil engineering cost. Combining with field practice, this paper studies the method of determining the consumption and unit price of labor, material and machinery of stainless steel cladding by using big data, which lays a foundation for the subsequent revision of quota. The results show that the envelope values of manual and mechanical consumption can be determined by the construction scheme combined with the construction schedule. The on-site side station can accurately determine the consumption of stainless steel cladding machine, but because the manpower and material resources are too huge, the complete side station to witness the construction of stainless steel cladding is almost operable; The on-site discussion between experienced cost personnel and construction technicians is an efficient way to determine labor consumption during processes, while on-site observation further enhances accuracy. Interviewing material removal lists, processing plans, as well as inbound and outbound records proves effective in determining material consumption. Under provisions such as realname registration systems for workers and special wage accounts for migrant workers, daily wages for laborers can be more clearly obtained; contract prices along with market information serve as effective means to ascertain material prices; meanwhile unit costs for machinery shifts can be calculated based on equipment purchase costs or rental expenses according to corresponding regulations. After separately determining labor, materials, and machinery consumptions along with their respective unit prices, the comprehensive unit price for stainless steel cladding can be derived.
