At present, the development goal of China’s construction industry is to realize the high-efficiency and energy-saving industrial production of new buildings. From the perspective of the future development of the construction industry, information technology such as BIM technology will become an important tool and means to promote the industrialization of new buildings. Based on the full process of construction projects, this study comprehensively analyzes the significant role of BIM technology in improving the collaborative efficiency of the construction industry, promoting the optimal allocation of resources, and promoting the transformation and upgrading of the industry in combination with the characteristics of new building industrialization. Combined with actual cases, the key points and results of the innovative application of BIM technology are analyzed, in order to further promote the intelligent, green and sustainable development of the industry.
