In order to pass down the memories of disasters to future generations, it is not enough to simply think that ‘a sad event occurred’. It is necessary to consider the structural problems that modern societies face, analysing the representations that emerged due to the disaster as a subject. Therefore, when visiting a disaster area, it is not enough to look at the scenery; it is also necessary to look at the location from various perspectives.
