Knee Injury Prevention: Strategies and Implementation
摘要
Knee injuries constitute a significant proportion of sports and exercise-related injuries of the lower extremities. Preventing these injuries is crucial in minimizing the need for surgical interventions, preventing long-term complications such as osteoarthritis and improving patients’ quality of life. By implementing evidence-based preventive strategies into clinical practice, healthcare professionals can address risk factors for knee injuries proactively rather than reactively. This chapter aims to provide an overview of evidence-based strategies for knee injury prevention. It synthesizes foundational principles, clinical application of interventions, and emerging technologies for common knee injuries.
