As the Chinese saying goes, gold has its own price but jade may be priceless. There is no wonder that jade is a symbol of royal power and noble morality in ancient China. In this chapter the author introduced in great detail his years of efforts made together with team members and technicians in the recreation project of the faux Jade bianqing including materials selection, experiments of model creation, firing, casting, coloring, sample testing, the ingredients and formulation etc. The faux Jade bianqing attempted to imitate the unearthed jade bianqing excavated from the Tomb of Jiangdu King Liu Fei in the Western Han Dynasty in 2009. The relic was created in the 6th year of Era Yuanguang of the Emperor Wu of Han (129 BC).
