Digitalization in Smart Farming
摘要
In recent years, the agricultural system has experienced a significant transition toward digital technology, leading to the emergence of smart farming. This technological advancement utilizes cutting-edge tools like the Internet of Things (IoT), big data analysis, artificial intelligence (AI), and blockchain to improve agricultural efficiency, sustainability, and resource management. Smart farming technologies enable real-time tracking of crop health, soil conditions, and weather trends, allowing farmers to make informed decisions that maximize yields and minimize waste. Additionally, the adoption of precision agriculture methods facilitates targeted actions, reducing the environmental impact linked to conventional farming practices. However, despite the various advantages, obstacles such as a lack of digital literacy, inadequate infrastructure, and concerns regarding data security continue to impede widespread implementation. This report examines how digitalization can change conventional agriculture into a more efficient, resilient, and sustainable system, emphasizing the opportunities and challenges that await in the quest for a more intelligent agricultural future.
