Motion Image Processing
摘要
Motion image processing extends static image analysis into the time domain, enabling the extraction of motion information from image sequences. This chapter introduces the basic principles of optical flow, which estimates the apparent movement of brightness patterns and forms the foundation for target tracking. It also presents template matching as a practical method for locating moving objects when appearance cues are consistent. Finally, two application cases—badminton trajectory analysis and bee waggle dance detection—illustrate how motion images can be used to track objects, classify behaviours, and perform quantitative motion analysis in real scenarios.
