Binocular Vision Measurement
摘要
Binocular vision measurement reconstructs 3D geometric information by using two images captured from different viewpoints. This chapter introduces the fundamental hardware components, stereo imaging principles, and geometric models of both parallel and convergent binocular systems. It further explains the complete calibration process, including direct linear calibration and Zhang’s method, and describes how intrinsic and extrinsic parameters are obtained and converted into projection matrices. Based on calibrated camera models, the chapter presents the 3D reconstruction of target points and evaluates measurement accuracy through practical experiments. These methods together form a comprehensive foundation for applying binocular vision to precise spatial measurement tasks.
