This chapter focuses on the practical implementation and real-world application of the theoretical concepts developed earlier. It bridges the gap between theory and practice by comparing simulation results with actual experimental outcomes. The primary objective is to validate the proposed discrete-time sliding mode control theory, specifically the difference equation with minima-based approach, through experimental testing. By analyzing the performance of the proposed control strategy in real-world scenarios, the chapter demonstrates its effectiveness and robustness in comparison to the theoretical predictions from the simulations. Additionally, the effect of sampling time is analyzed, revealing that shorter sampling intervals result in increased control effort, as demonstrated through simulation.

摘要
