Continuous-Time Sliding Mode Control: Foundations and Transition to Digital Implementation
摘要
This chapter offers an in-depth exploration of the history and development of discrete-time sliding mode control (DSMC), beginning with the foundational concepts of continuous-time sliding mode control (CSMC). It first introduces a basic design approach associated with CSMC. The chapter then discusses the origin and progression of DSMC, emphasizing key distinctions between their respective design criteria. A significant classification is also presented, highlighting the switching and non-switching characteristics of these methods. These foundational insights are crucial for understanding and framing our research contributions in the later chapters.
