As a result, many Indonesians start businesses to generate income, ranging from small home-based enterprises to larger ventures. Women entrepreneurs, despite their increasing numbers, face obstacles due to Indonesia’s strong patriarchal system, which often requires them to balance both household and business responsibilities. Women entrepreneurs encounter additional challenges, including limited digital skills, financial literacy gaps, low entrepreneurial motivation, and difficulties in marketing their products. Personal branding plays a crucial role in enhancing credibility and influencing audience behaviour. Effective personal branding involves maintaining strong relationships with audiences, sharing positive content, selecting impactful platforms, and controlling shared content. In the digital era, social media platforms like Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, LinkedIn, YouTube, WhatsApp, and Twitter serve as powerful tools for personal branding. To overcome challenges, women entrepreneurs can adopt four key strategies: sharing experiences and challenges, collaborating with local influencers, participating in training and mentoring programs, and leveraging social media effectively. These strategies enable women entrepreneurs in Indonesia to enhance their visibility, strengthen their businesses, and build sustainable success.
