In this paper, we suggest applying the Horse Herd Optimization metaheuristic search approach to correctly and instantaneously track the maximum power point corresponding to the photovoltaic array, even when under non-uniform partial shading conditions. This paper presents the concept and application of methods to overcome the problem of partial shading. This makes it possible to extract the corresponding maximum power at a global point, regardless of the degree of shading of the solar array. The results obtained by numerical simulation using MatLab/ simulink programming software show that the MPPT global, metaheuristic approach adopted in this work ensures excellent tracking performance in all weather conditions.

摘要
