Designing Organizations for Turbulent Times
摘要
The demand for organizational redesigning often arises in turbulent and complex environments. Positive challenges within these turbulent environments drive growth and adaptation. This chapter examines how in the context of the COVID-19 pandemic, organizations could function more effectively through Human-Centered Organizational Design (HCOD) and Cross-Functional Teams (CFT’s). These structures fostered realignment to the new normal, slowing down and speeding up the relevant work and personal areas, initiating processes of learning how to learn, managing emerging contradictions, and building new and enhanced levels of resilience.
