Rising carbon emissions are indisputably worsening global climate conditions, posing a severe threat to the environment. Analysing carbon emissions and reduction are vital to combat climate change and promote sustainability. Focusing on Micro, Small, and Medium-sized Enterprises (MSMEs) in India, which contribute over 70% of industrial pollution, this study employs Life Cycle Inventory (LCI) analysis to systematically calculate emissions across the supply chain. It identifies key contributors and offers targeted recommendations, such as integrating renewable energy sources like solar panels. A cost-benefit analysis assesses initial investments against long-term savings and environmental benefits. This strategic approach empowers MSMEs to reduce CO2 emissions while enhancing sustainability and competitiveness.

摘要
