Limited examples of nonlinear stochastic systems are presented earlier in the book, for which the stationary PDF solution of the FPK equation can be obtained. Even for these systems, other aspects of random responses such as moments, correlation function and power spectral density are still elusive. Numerical simulations and approximate analytical solutions are still the focus of research.
