Optical Tracking System Review: Results of Validity and Reliability Studies on Prescribed Circuits in Football
摘要
Optical tracking systems (OTS) offer significant advantages over wearable-based tracking devices. By recording player movements as videos, OTS provide a non-contact method for collecting data, including the movements of opposing teams. This paper presents a comprehensive review of the results of validity and reliability studies conducted using OTS on prescribed circuits in football. A total of eight relevant articles were identified and analyzed, covering a wide range of prescribed circuits and various activities. The results consistently demonstrate high levels of validity and reliability in measuring football-specific movements, making them an invaluable tool for coaches and researchers to enhance performance analysis, training loads, and injury prevention in football.
